Why “Moondust”?
There have been few things as daring and inspiring as human kind’s pursuit of traveling to the moon. “Moondust” is a reminder to take on big challenges for big rewards. Moondust is also a reference to the ultra fine volcanic dusty soil that accumulates on the trails in Bend, Oregon in the late summer and is a nod to a unique piece of this place.
Why “Labs”?
Creativity is an action not a result. Moondust "Labs" because this is a place to push for new and novel ideas, not rehash what's been proven before. Hands-on testing and experimenting is part of what carries an idea from our heads into reality. It’s not magic, it’s science.
Meet Caleb.
Caleb started and built his career in Austin, Texas before moving to Bend, Oregon in 2023 when he opened this studio. He’s passionate about having his professional work be reflective of the things he cares about personally. He loves learning about why things are designed and made the way that they are.
